Tue, December 18, 2007 - 6:15 PMDidn't really care for this year's anniversary myself, just threw it out there as a topic to get something going. Kinda gimmicky don'tcha think... black IPA? Nothin' to write home about, IMHO.
I do like the Vertical Epic a whole lot more though.
Always down with the AB, but the Double Bastard is a little too sweet for my taste, a little too malt liquorey I think. (Shades of THE BULL, or maybe Olde English 800.)

Ah, Olde English 800 ... drank a big bunch of it long long ago, ended up not being able to urinate for an uncomfortably long time. Now, I like Henry's Blue Boar. Snowplow is good too though one time due to apparent lacose intolerance it plowed back up ...
